SLOMRA has been involved in other community activities as well….

The SLOMRA has helped out other organizations with their events by bringing our trains, our expertise and our talents.  Many family oriented events can and have benefited from our participation and presence as everyone can connect to trains!

The SLOMRA helped a local Boy Scout troop earn a merit badge in railroading; Ole teaches kids about railroads  at a SLO summer camp; Stuart hands out goodies to runners at the inaugural SLO Marathon; Jim entertains residents at an active senior living facility…
