NSE Convention
Eight members of the SLOMRA
attended the NSE National N Scale
Convention in Sacramento, California,
in June of 2015. We displayed 15
modules, which included three with
oNeTrack connections.
Members arrived on different days to
attend certain functions while Chuck
and Michael brought up the trailer on
Wednesday. Several members
attended the welcome party hosted by
Micro Trains later that night.
Setup was on Thursday in a nice
cooled room as temperatures outside
soared. Several members enjoyed
happy hour at the hotel and visited
several hotel rooms that were hosting
“room sales.” This is where
convention attendees sold items from
their rooms at certain times.
Three other N scale groups had their
module layouts: two N Trak groups
and one Free-moN group. Bob and
Linda Karr and Phil and Marina
Lawyer hosted a cocktail party on
Friday night.
At the banquet Saturday night, Donald
Chambers won one of the raffle prizes
for his first N scale rolling stock.
