| New SLOMRA HO Modules Operational! |  Jim P. and Michael Conduct Operations on the SLOMRA HO Module Layout SLOMRA members now have an operational HO Module Layout! This layout made it's debut at our annual Oceano Depot Model Railroad Day show on January 25th, and features FreeMo transitional corners. If you want to participate in HO scale model railroading but don't have the room for a layout; Building a module is the way to go. In a sense, it is a diorama that comes to life during club events and runs when combined with other modules into a large layout! | OCEANO DEPOT'S HO LAYOUT GETS A FACELIFT!
SLOMRA members recently completed a restoration project on the HO Layout residing in the caboose at the Oceano Depot. The layout (previously donated to the Depot by the SLOMRA) is now controlled by a timer instead of a control panel, and features museum quality scenery. A Plexiglass barrier was also installed to prevent wandering hands!  |
